On the center of the hard cover rests a glistening white gemstone that swirls with captured golden light, a reminder to all of the contents of this holy book.

The Way of Light

“The world is imperfect, but it does not need to remain this way. With my Blessings we can create a world as pure as my Light.”

The world that we inhabit is broken but beautiful, but how much more breathtaking could it be if we embraced Her Light and cleansed it of its imperfections and blight? Picture a world with no sickness, no curses or cruelty - one where we embrace each other and work together to maintain this perfect realm. Such a dream is achievable under Her Guidance, all one needs is Faith.

“My Children, I am your Light, your Guide, your Beacon. Follow my voice, answer my call, and I shall bless you with the Might to fell all darkness - and all I ask in return is your Faith.”

Faith is the most powerful thing any follower of our Lady Arilynae can have. It is faith that allows us to persevere through our hardships, and to face our fears and weaknesses. Our strength is our Faith, and thus we should never falter in our devotion to the Golden One.

A child of the Light will understand that the path before them is not one meant for the weak, for the Dragoness expects those only strong of Will, Flesh and Soul to stand at her side.

The Golden Dragoness of Light

The Sacred Tenants

Praise me not just when you need me, but in all moments of your life.

The worship of the Golden Dragon should not be conducted just when one may wish for her boons or guidance; she expects true devotion from her followers, for them to be convicted to her cause and her teachings.

Harm none who are innocent but do not hesitate to bring justice to those who are not.

The blessings of the Dragoness should never be used to harm innocent people, no matter the reason. If they do not directly go against the Dragoness’s teachings, they are to be left alone. On that note, any who goes against her will or attempts to still the hand of justice should be swiftly dealt with.

All who seek to Blight or Harm must parish.

In creating a perfect realm, those who would dare smudge her pristine canvas must be slain. There is no room for sympathy for such vile ilk.

Remain Pure in Spirit, Mind and Body.

Do not partake in such foolish things as drink and drugs, as they will blur one’s mind and cause you to stray from the path laid before you. If you do, limit consumption and never partake into drunkenness. Do not humor those who do not follow your faith, and do not humor your convictions - in doing so they may guide you from the Light. Do no harm onto yourself, for any injury of your vessel taints the perfection of her creation.

Harm not your Kin, but bring them before Me for Judgement.

Harm not others who hold your beliefs, for they are meant to guide others onto the Dragoness’s path. Should they stray from the Light, pray to Her, and bring them forth to a temple. It is not the duty of the Children of Light to place Divine Judgement onto their kin; they are only to ensure the tainted are brought to the Golden One for her to decide what shall be done with them.

The Cursed Woes

Woe to those who plot within shadows with tainted desires.

Those who lurk in the dark often have dark intentions; be wary of what these individuals may be plotting.

Woe to those who desire to spread slander and seek to smear my Holy name.

Be wary of any who would dare slander the Golden One; should you allow such lies to be seeded, you risk allowing darkness to be spread. Always defend your faith and your Goddess, be it with tact or with might.

Woe to those who partake in drunkenness, gambling and debauchery for these are the actions of the weak willed.

The Children of Light are the walking embodiment of the Golden One; you are what the Innocent shall turn to in their moments of need. You must always represent Her, in Grace, Strength, Will and Devotion. By stooping to the acts of drunkard or the harlot, you smear the very name you represent and bring to question your devotion to Her.

Woe to those who stray in their devotion or those who put anyone or anything else above Me.

Devotion and Faith are what She asks of her Children; to stray is to betray Her, to bring to question your morals or intent. Nothing should come before your duties to Her, for your Faith in Her should be a part of all that you are and all that you do.

Woe to those who welcome the impure not into their temples but into their beds.

We welcome the lost into our Temples to guide them to Her blessed Light, but the lost can sometimes truly be beasts in disguise. Souls that are impure risk tainting your own being, and bring to question your morals. Should your image be stained, so shall the message you seek to spread. One should welcome only those who walk the Gilded Path and carry great Faith into this sacred act.

Woe to those who falter in their duties, those who do not shelter and protect.

It is the duty of all Clerics to protect, to heal and to guide the Lost. Shun from your temples any who claim to walk the Gilded Path but who would deny aid to an innocent due to their mortal associations. Children of the Light are not bound by region, race or nation - they are bound only to the Will of the Golden One. It is thus their duty to heal all who seek it, so long as their souls be Pure and blade not used against one of our kin.
