    Crimson Lurcher

    [Image: AD_4nXdEJh7jPI2GNiaRFfi_g1xEbp6ljrqSpqmq...iutdfIg75g]

    Rarity: Common
Potential Locations: Swamps, Marshes, Damp Woodlands
Properties: The Crimson Lurcher is a fairly common carnivorous plant, often found in swamps, marshes and other damp but wooded areas (both temperate and tropical rainforests, etc.). These curious plants have thick leaves that somewhat resemble the pads of a cactus; rather than being covered in sharp pointed needles, the Crimson Lurcher’s petals are coated in tiny clusters of thin skinned red ‘berries’. These berries are very similar to the ‘seeds’ of a pomegranate in they are easy to puncture, stain whatever they seep onto crimson and are sweet yet bitter to taste. It is these juicy little berries that release an alluring and sweet aroma into the air near the Crimson Lurcher, aiming to lure creatures in to snack on them.

These little berries have been used for generations as a way to help the wounded slowly regenerate after blood loss. The flesh of the actual leaves are not very flavorful, being bitter and bland, but harmless when eaten - albeit getting close enough to collect the berries or leaves is where the danger of this odd plant comes into play. Should one try to do so when the plant has not been fed, or is not busy digesting a previous meal, the long tendrils that come from its center will lurch out and latch onto you. These odd vine-like structures are sticky and serrated and will start to tug its victim back towards where they protrude, aiming to consume whatever it is that they have caught.

    Redlines

Cannot be used to consume, kill or otherwise do serious harm to someone.

    Glimmershroom

    [Image: AD_4nXci_AszmeEBGogjwuuuUcYR6k23Y7PtcWlH...pq__OTG-sA]
    [Art by:   SorayasCorner]

    Rarity: Common

Potential Locations: Fae forests, sometimes in damp caves, never in dry locations.

Properties: A glowing mushroom that shimmers in the dark, the glimmershroom can be processed into a paste that maintains their glowing properties. This can be used for paint or dyes that will glow as well. In addition to glowing, the glimmershroom can be used in potions due to its refreshing, restoring properties.

    Frost-petal Rose

    [Image: AD_4nXeRwW_dnLbARApPzJ_RuR__UojgA41c4MlW...pq__OTG-sA]
    [Art by:   badfinger on DA]
    Rarity: Uncommon

Potential Locations: In cold regions, snowy areas, and tundras.

Properties: This stunning flower is usually found upon rock outcrops, growing from between cracks where the seed was able to cling on. With petals of various shades of blue and blue hued white, the frost-petal rose always appears to be covered in a thin layer of ice, though this sheen is not truly frost. Much like the bitter cold region the flower thrives in, this herb can be used to make a cold paste or oil for various purposes. One would note that even after harvesting, the frost-petal rose remains chilled to the touch.

    Stroke Berries

    [Image: AD_4nXev7tdaDreHCCafguTL7aKhD0x9mLcDf1hs...pq__OTG-sA]

    Rarity: Very Common

Potential Locations: Vallies, Plains, Plain Mountains

Properties: This seemingly innocent berry has been known to grow across the lands by stems that often grow off other plants within suitable regions. This pink hued fruit would typically be branched off in shaded parts of other grows be it hillsides or under the shade of trees. When eaten the berry would have a most delightful taste to most who’d consume such. The stems of the plant of the berry even giving off a scent that makes those near the berry feel more hungry.

The taste of the fruit being very sweet, and tangy almost like a sweetened orange, where the feelings of hunger would only amplify as the berry is eaten. However much more insidious of this fruit, ones blood would clot at a quicken pace, often times resulting in many animals and mortal life to suffer a stroke. While deadly it was discovered by squishing the berry into a paste and applying such to wounds it would still clot blood, aiding in stopping bleeds at a most rapid pace.

    Redlines

Cannot be used as a poison.
Extensive use of Stroke Berry paste in a short period of time will result in the applicant suffering a stroke.
All items must be collected from nodes.
Extensive use of Stroke Berry paste will result in the applicant suffering a stroke.
The hunger effects of the Stroke Berry plant cannot be used to force a player into eating any of the berries.

    Vitality Sap

    [Image: AD_4nXdZTC-UOyHI4RApzW68gmGaBGPydPk7YA3-...IrMoaOT2Fg]

    Rarity: Common

Potential Locations: Small saplings that grow within swamps.

Properties: While typically the material of the Palantíri or Elven Oak in common is all but mundane. The sap that is broken off from the sapling is much more alchemical in nature. When a branch is broke off the Elven Oak sapling a rich thick auric sap will become exposed. This golden sap has the properties of disinfecting wounds that would otherwise become infected. To collect this sap in the adult trees one can also simply tap the Elven Oak or rip off the bigger branches to siphon such.

While it is useful in the form of sap, if one were to ingest the secretion they would find themselves becoming ill. Stomach pains lasting for hours, while having terrible bowel movements until all of the sap has finished leaving ones system.

    Redlines

Cannot be used as a poison.
Can only be harvested from living Elven Oaks in the swamp.
Can only be gathered through a node.
The sickness from Vitality Sap lasts for 2 IRL hours.

    Whistle Weed

    Rarity: Common

Potential Locations: Forests and plains, typically in open sunny areas.

Properties: A curious herb that has gotten its name because of the way the reeds of the wheat-like plant make a soft whistling sound when wind blows through them. This plant is commonly dried and turned into a flour for baking, but when the reeds and roots are boiled and processed into oil or paste, they can be used as a type of lubricant or base for other alchemical concoctions.
