Section 2: Roleplay Questions

1.In order to ensure fair and proper roleplay there are a few terms we’d like you to be aware of. For each term, define the term and give an example where it may apply:

- Metagaming:

A description of metagaming and a provided example of usage of metagaming
(eg. Metagaming is the act of knowing information out of character and using that information for roleplay when your character wouldn’t know that information. EX: Saying “Wow that guy over there is a necromancer, get him!” when you’ve never seen the character use necromantic abilities) 


- Powergaming:

A description of powergaming and a provided example of usage of powergaming
(eg. Powergaming is the act of writing roleplay in a manner that makes your character stronger or more talented than they would reasonably be, preventing others from reacting or combating your emotes properly. EX: Having your character, who has never held a sword in their life, use a longsword to stab someone with perfect aim for a gap in their armor.)

2.In a few short sentences, please describe both your character’s physical appearance (Height, Hair Color, Eye Color, etc.) and their personality (ie. their temperament and core motivations).

A description of how your character looks and presents to those around them.
EX: Anamendine is a frost elf that stands at 5’7. Their dark, ebony hair falls to their waist, though is normally bound up in rounded crown braids weaved with small daisies. Just above their smaller, button nose, sits wide set drooped eyes the color of amber, contrasted against their pale skin dappled with freckles. They often find themself at odds with others, finding it difficult to speak up or say the right thing, leading to a wallflower like attitude and an almost shy appearance, avoiding eye contact with strangers and staying out of crowded areas.
